First off, before you ask - as I've been saying for about
three months now, New Gold
Dreams relaunches June 6th. It'll run three days a week.
Nothing much else to say. Yes, this is a spin off of my
primary comic, Something
Positive. I came up with the idea after doing this strip.
That same day, I banged out a few character designs and the first two
comics.
Midnight Macabre will be updating five days a
week only. I'm debating on posting fillers on the weekends, but probably
won't at first. The comic is set in north Texas, twenty-four years
ago. I'm launching the strip a few weeks early because you guys have
been very kind to me ($22,000 last year and, hell, $6,000 last week!).
A quick note: This isn't going to be Something Positive. There are
going to be differences and it's not going to be a strip for everyone
(granted, there will be similarities, too, and I'm sure I'll get the
usual pissed off emails from the usual five or six people... correction,
my spam filter will get their emails). But I do hope you all enjoy it.
